Wonderful person, a highly experienced senior nurse and a clinical educator. Pauline has vital experience, knowledge and skills in abundance, including:
- A variety of hospital experience in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia including PICU, OPD and OB ward.
- OSCE lived experience, as a former OSCE learner and candidate – Pauline passed OSCE 1st time in March 2018, registering as a UK RN after arriving in the UK (NI) in January 2018.
- OSCE Instructor since September 2018, having gained valuable mentorship and teaching skills, experience, and knowledge with a highly experienced OSCE preparation and nurse development team who collaborated with nurses before, during and in the important period following UK NMC registration.
- Experience within a highly skilled, compassionate, multi-disciplinary team during the early days and development of the first Covid-19 care home unit in NI in 2020.
- A variety of secondments during the pandemic in various care homes and recent experience as a Unit Clinical Lead/Sister in a care home setting for residents living with Dementia.
- She is a care-planning and ANTT/wound dressing & assessment QUEEN! Seriously, she is amazing!
Pauline’s contributions, vast experience, variety of skills, lived experience and unique perspective are so reassuring, boosting learner confidence and competence at such a crucial time. She has worn the OSCE t-shirt, AND the uniform, supporting 100’s of nurses at all stages of the OSCE journey, both in the classroom and in a variety of long-term care settings.
